Q: I see on my account panel a button for BONUS CODE. What is that?
A: The BONUS CODE is something similar to the welcome code.

Q: How do I create a nickname?
A: On the game lobby page, click on the My Account button. Click on the Account Manager link once your user information panel pops up.
When you are forwarded to a new webpage, you must key in your username and password. Once you’re in the accounts options menu, click on the Account link. Your user details will be shown and towards the bottom of the page, place your desired nickname on the Nick field. You can also change your First name, Last name and gender details if you wish so.
Click update once you’re done. You have now created an in-game nickname. The name will be displayed beside your avatar when you play Tong-its.
Q: How do I change my password?
A: From the lobby, you should click on the My Account button. When your account information panel pops up, click on the Account Manager link. Once you do this, you will then be forwarded to a webpage that requires your user details. Fill in the required information to access the accounts options menu.
Click on Change Password to begin.
A panel will show your log-in username, your email address will be displayed. Right under it, you will have to key in your new password. Repeat the new password to confirm then type your current password at the bottom.
Click update. You have now changed your account password.
Q: How do I change my email address?
A: This works similarly with changing passwords.
From the lobby, you should click on the My Account button. When your account information panel pops up, click on the Account Manager link. Once you do this, you will then be forwarded to a webpage that requires your user details. Fill in the required information to access the accounts options menu.
Click on Change Email to go begin.
On the page, your log-in name, current email address will be displayed. Just under it, type in the new email address and click update.
The system will then send a confirmation email to your new email address. You need to validate the email in order for changes to take effect.
Once validation is done, you have successfully changed your email address.
A: From the lobby, you should click on the My Account button. When your account information panel pops up, click on the Upload Photo.
A small panel will pop up. Find your file from the browse option and click upload when you’re ready. You can also choose to cancel anytime if you do not wish to change your photo.
Q: Why do I keep getting disconnected in the middle of game play?
A: There can be several reasons as to why you get disconnected from the game.
- It could be your connection to the game server. You can try logging out and then logging in after some time.
- You might have problems with your internet connection.
If you are using Microsoft Windows, visit Windows’ Troubleshooter for Internet Connection Problems to resolve this issue.
If you are using a Mac, visit the Mac Troubleshooter.
If the problem still persists after doing the steps above, you can send us a report with the following information:

- Run cmd, type in “ping games.playtongits.com” and put the result for Average round trip. (###ms)
