Game Rules

DEALING AND PLAYING:

• Each player is given 12 cards.
• The dealer is randomly selected for the first round.
• The dealer will have 13 cards and starts the game by dumping a card.
• The next person can either pick up the disposed card or get one from the central stack. If he chooses to pick up the discarded card, he has to lay down a set of hand completed by the dumped card. Otherwise, he can just get a card from the deck and dump a card even without opening a hand.
• The picking-up/dumping goes on until someone wins or until the central stack runs out of cards. If this happens, the players tally the points of the cards they have at hand. An Ace counts as one, two as two and so on and so forth. All face cards have a value of 10 points. After all cards have been tallied, the person with the least number of points wins.
• Another way to end the game early is by calling a draw. When a draw has been called, the points are computed. Again, the person with the lowest points wins.
• To reduce the number of cards at hand, you can connect to the open hands by simply extending them (adding cards to a straight flush or a three-of-a-kind).

TO WIN THE GAME:

The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards. The person who gets rid of all the cards or has the least number of total points wins the game. To dispose of all your cards, you must complete a set of hands. To complete a hand, you must a three-of-a-kind, four-of-a-kind or a straight flush.

CARD COMBINATIONS:

• Three of a kind (three equally ranked cards):

Betting Rules

The following rules apply if the player WINS BY TONGITS:

1. If the player wins by TONGITS, the player gets 40% of the original ANTE.
2. The winner by TONGITS player also gets 20% for each card if he/she has KING or ACE of any suit from the original ANTE.
3. If the TONGITS winner has any four cards of the same kind (A.k.a SECRET card: This type can be, four aces, four kings, four sevens, etc.). They get 20% of the original ANTE.
4. If the TONGITS winner has five straight FLUSH (A.k.a ESCALERA), meaning 5 straight cards of the same suit (e.g. king of hearts, followed by queen of hearts, followed by jack of hearts, followed by 10 of hearts, followed 9 of hearts), the winner also gets 20% of the original ANTE.

NOTE: If the opponent gets BURNED, meaning he/she has not brought to the table any group of cards, he/she is obliged to pay 20% of the original ANTE plus the following:

• Additional 20% for each ace or king cards that the TONGITS winner has.
• Additional 20% if the winner has a SECRET CARD.
• Additional 20% if the winner has an ESCALERA.

The following rules apply if the DECK RUNS OUT OF CARDS:

1. If the player won by lowest points, winner gets 40% of the original ANTE.
2. The winner also gets 20% for each card if he/she has KING or ACE of any suit from the original ANTE.
3. If the winner has any four cards of the same kind (A.k.a SECRET card: This type can be, four aces, four kings, four sevens, etc.). They get 20% of the original ANTE.
4. If the winner has five straight FLUSH (A.k.a ESCALERA), meaning 5 straight cards of the same suit (e.g. king of hearts, followed by queen of hearts, followed by jack of hearts, followed by 10 of hearts, followed 9 of hearts), the winner also gets 20% of the original ANTE.

NOTE: If the opponent gets BURNED, meaning he/she has not brought to the table any group of cards, he/she will automatically FOLD once the game ENDS. He/she is then obliged to pay 20% of the original ANTE for being BURNED and another 20% of the original ante for FOLDING automatically, plus the following:

• Additional 20% for each ace or king cards that the winner by lowest points has.
• Additional 20% if the winner has a SECRET CARD.
• Additional 20% if the winner has an ESCALERA.

The Winner will get the following if the game is WON BY DRAW:

1. If the opponent FIGHTS and loses, he/she has to pay 50% of the original ANTE plus:
   • Additional 20% for each ace or king cards that the winner by lowest points has.
   • Additional 20% if the winner has a SECRET CARD.
   • Additional 20% if the winner has an ESCALERA.
2. If the opponent FOLDS, he/she has to pay 20% of the original Ante plus:
   • Additional 20% for each ace or king cards that the winner by lowest points has.
   • Additional 20% if the winner has a SECRET CARD.
   • Additional 20% if the winner has an ESCALERA.
3. If the opponent BURNED and automatically gets FOLD, he/she has to pay 40% of the original Ante plus:
   • Additional 20% for each ace or king cards that the winner by lowest points has.
   • Additional 20% if the winner has a SECRET CARD.
   • Additional 20% if the winner has an ESCALERA.

Jackpot Rules

1. Jackpot

   • 30% of per person’s ante is automatically allotted to the pot money found at the table (Amount is also seen on the upper right side of the window).
   • This is won when the player wins twice in a row.

2. Mega Jackpot

   • 5 chips per person /per table are allotted automatically to the mega jackpot found on the lower right side of the screen (after the chat window).
   • The player who has a 7 STRAIGHT FLUSH straight from the initial hand (no pick-ups) will get the Mega Jackpot.
